Recently I’ve blogged about Node.JS learning resources and I’ve focused on picking tutorials where you can learn as you go and be exposed to the full stack implementation at the same time. If you’ve been exposed to RESTful services, JavaScript, Single Page Applications (SPA) and No-SQL databases before than those kinds of tutorials are great. However, if you are new to some of the technologies being used, need a deeper understanding on how things work or your learning style better lends itself to reading books then The Node Beginner Book is a great resource.

Right now there’s a great deal to get The Node Beginner Book and Hands-On Node.JS together.

Individually you’d pay $21.98 for these two books, but right now you can buy them for as low as $9.99 on LeanPub. I highly recommend taking advantage of this deal.
